As of the census of 2000, there were 6,639 people, 1,582 households, and 1,218 families residing in the town. The population density was 263.5 people per square mile (101.8/km²).
The Village of Otisville is within the Town.
The Town is the home to the Otisville Federal Correctional Institute and the Otisville State Correctional Facility.
